About RipMath & methodology
Free tools for trading card game collectors.
Card data
Card lists, names, numbers and rarities come from the open-source Pokémon TCG data project and are refreshed on every site build. Card images are loaded from their original host.
How the simulator works
A simulated pack contains common and uncommon slots, a reverse holo slot and a rare slot. The rare slot picks a rarity using weighted odds, then a random card of that rarity. Each pack is independent and uses your browser’s random number generator. Nothing is sent to a server.
Pull rates and odds
Pokémon does not publish official pull rates. Until a measured community sample is available for a set, the simulator uses default estimates and says so. We publish pull rate tables only when we have a stated sample size, and we show the sample size next to the numbers. Treat all odds as estimates: small samples vary a lot.
